The results are in...

Sooooo, we can't really dance worth a damn, but holy crap, we is learnin' like a m%^%$#$.
Today was the first day of school, and the intake of info made my head explode. It went well, though, and we're excited to go back tomorrow.
We learned some Salsa and some Meringue (sp?) today, which was freakin' tough work, tougher for the teacher than us, I think, so we're off to do some homework, and rest our weary bones.

Hola from Heredia!

We made it, safe and sound. We are in Heredia, a small city just north of San Jose ( the capital city of Costa Rica) We will be here for a week, taking Spanish, cooking and Latin dance classes. No, that is not a typo, dance classes. After that, we head to the beach. There is a chance that we might head directly to the beach, and take the classes there, as there is a branch of the same school in a coastal town. Thats all for now.

Bon Voyage to us!

We're off to the airport in 10 minutes!! 11 hours from now, we should be in the Juan Santamaria International Airport. (Amazing that 5-6 hours of flying can be converted to 11 hours of brouhaha and sassafrass due to security concerns)
Whoooooopeeeee!!
Next post will be from Costa Rica. Maybe it'll be in Spanish.... who knows!?

This photo came from my friend Guillaume in Kyoto. It's me, beating up my friend Asako! Ha ha ha. Good thing she's not here, or she'd kick my ass. Posted by Picasa

Sorry all who have visited. I'm new at this and didn't realize that I had to change the settings to allow people to make comments. This is done, and hopefully done correctly.

Current plans etc...

Okay, so here's what's happening, as far as we know or have planned.
September 22nd, we leave for Costa Rica. We'll be there for at least 2 months, vacationing and learning Spanish.
After C.R., we're going to Colombia to teach English. Depending on how much we like it, we might stay a year, we might stay longer.
That's all we know at the moment.
Updates will be made available on a need to know basis.
Haha.
Who needs to know? I don't know.
Oh, yeah, for those of you way out of the loop, we just came back from Japan.
Whoopee!

At this Quebecois wedding, surprisingly, we were the only guests in traditional Japanese clothing (yucata) Posted by Picasa

The Shoeless Duo

I'm gettin' antsy. Three days until we're in the air. I've already rendered myself shoeless, and I'm freezing my toes off here in St.Hyacinthe, not to mention my ass. Oops.
